the fire falls

everybody has their trip: music, literature, dancing, double jack and cokes, neighbours, gta san andreas, frappucinos. there is a trip that you will never have to come down from. unlike frappucinos it will not fire your intestines. this is not the trip of a lifetime, it is the trip of an eternity.

this is our trip. we have been to the high places. we want to tell everyone.

there is a fire that falls from heaven into the hearts of men. it is as real as the sticky muck on the floor of the union at 3am on a friday morning. it is as real as the sun that stabs into the back of your head through your bleary red eyes the next afternoon when you wake up.

everyone needs love. this fire is love. it is not some kind of vague universal force or spurious karma. this love is from Jesus. he will never stop loving you, no matter what you do. he is a real person. he is also God. he loves you now and forever.
